What we may collect
To prepare a Money Leak Scan, LeakLens may receive contact details, monthly income, expense categories, recurring charges and the context you choose to provide. We do not need banking passwords, card numbers or identity documents; please do not submit them.
Why we use it
LeakLens uses submitted information to deliver the educational expense analysis you request, communicate secure intake and report-delivery steps, support the service and improve how the analysis identifies South African spending patterns. We aim to collect only what is needed for those purposes.
AI and third parties
LeakLens may use carefully selected service providers, including hosting, payment, communication and AI-processing providers, to operate the scan. Payment is handled through MadeThis checkout. Data shared with an AI-processing provider may be used to generate your report according to the provider's service terms and configured safeguards. Founder/legal review should confirm the final provider list, contracts and any cross-border processing position before launch.
Retention and deletion
Operationally, LeakLens should keep submitted scan information only as long as needed to deliver the report, support the customer and meet legitimate operational or legal recordkeeping needs. You can request access, correction or deletion of your submitted information by contacting the LeakLens founder through the support channel shown at checkout. A deletion request may be limited where records must be retained for a legitimate legal or accounting purpose.
Security and your choices
LeakLens should use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the service, but no internet transmission or system is completely risk-free. Share only the requested expense categories, review your information before sending it and do not include passwords, card details or identity documents. You can choose not to provide information, though this may prevent LeakLens from completing the scan.
